ENROLMENT

Enrolment consists of five steps:

  1. Applicants must consult the availability of groups in the Language Centre section of Casa Árabe’s website.
  2. The applicant must complete the enrolment form, which is available on Casa Árabe’s website, at the information desk or available on request by email or fax. Language School students and former students must also complete the form.
  3. The applicant must deposit the total course fee in Casa Árabe’s account number 0065-0073-24-0031000026 at Barclays Bank. He or she must state their name, family name and course code (eg MARÍA GÓMEZ PÉREZ AME IA/3). It is essential that the applicant’s name and family names appear, and not just the names of the person making the payment.
  4. Once these steps are completed, the applicant must send the enrolment form and a copy of the payment slip to the Arab Language Centre. If a discount is applicable, the applicant must also send a copy of the relevant document. Material may be sent by electronic mail to centrodelengua@casaarabe-ieam.es, or by fax to 91 563 30 24, clearly stating the applicant’s name and telephone number. Documentation may also be handed in at Casa Árabe’s information and enrolment desk during the following hours: Monday to Thursday from 12 to 14hrs and 17 to 18hrs, and Friday from 12 to 14hrs. It is essential that the Language Centre receives the documentation in full, in order for the enrolment to be considered valid.
  5. Once all the documentation is sent, the applicant must contact the Language Centre to confirm that the documents have been received.

Anyone who fails to pay the total enrolment fee before the specified date will not be admitted to Arabic Language Centre courses.

After enrolment has closed, the Language Centre will inform applicants by electronic mail about the formation of groups. If the group requested is not formed initially, the applicant may opt to enrol in a group already formed, or receive a full refund of the enrolment fee. A course will be offered only if sufficient numbers sign up. Once classes have started no refunds will be given

The Baïbars-Casa Árabe bookshop applies a 5 per cent discount for each purchase by Language Centre students.
